75 Percent of Cervical Cancer Caused by HPV

75 percent of cervical cancers are caused by "Human papilloma virus" or HPV "high risk", particularly types 16 and 18 in the world, cervical cancer is the second most common cancer after breast cancer.
Cervical cancer occurs at all ages in a woman's life. Half of all women diagnosed with cervical cancer at the age of 35-55 years. Most likely they have been exposed to HPV at the time of the teenagers around the age of 20 years.

Transmission of HPV not only through sexual intercourse, but also through all the activities that allow genital contact with an infected person

All the people who have a sexual activity involving genital contact can be infected with HPV. In essence, the transmission of the virus can cause cervical cancer through sexual intercourse.

Multiple partners can increase the risk of contracting the HPV virus. Therefore, awareness of this disease needs to be improved, but women infected with high-risk HPV types have a greater risk of developing cervical cancer.
