Lifestyle And Cancer Risk

Lifestyle which includes eating nutritious foods and regular physical active proved to be an easy and inexpensive way to prevent cancer. Keeping and maintaining an ideal weight and healthy throughout life can be obtained by taking into account the intake of calories from a balanced source (carbohydrate, protein and fat) and physical activity to prevent excessive weight gain. Why is that?

Overweight or obese appears to increase the risk for the occurrence of some types of cancer, such as breast cancer (especially in women who have gone through menopause), colon cancer, cervical cancer, cancer of the esophagus (esophageal) and kidney cancer. While obesity is also likely to increase the risk of several other cancers, such as cervical cancer, gallbladder cancer, lymph node cancer, ovarian cancer (ovarian), pancreatic cancer, thyroid cancer (thyroid) and prostate cancer.
While physical activity can reduce the risk of some types of cancer such as breast cancer, colon cancer, cervical cancer and prostate cancer. An active lifestyle can be done with exercises of the body at least 30 minutes a day in addition to the daily work activities, for 5 days a week, for example, by choosing to use the stairs rather than using the escalator or the elevator, try walking or cycling whenever possible, doing body work on at lunch with friends or family, a time to do the body work (stretching or brisk walking) during working hours, dancing with family or friends, take a walk as recreation rather than just sit there, join the group of certain sports, watching TV while riding a stationary bike or treadmill , or playing with their children at home.

While healthy eating style can be done with the selection of nutritious foods and drinks with a large portion of dishes that can still maintain a healthy body weight (low calorie foods and low fat), with various types of vegetable-eating at least 5 servings of fruit a day, preferring sourced from whole grains (whole grain) compared with the already processed, and limit red meat and meat that has been processed or prefer fish, poultry or beans, and avoiding the kind of cooking with fry or burn using charcoal.
